LIFETIME EXCHANGE Policy (LTE)

You can choose to exchange your old piece of jewellery bought from 6C for a new piece of jewellery.

The value of your old jewellery will be calculated as follows : Gold - 100% value of the metal weight at the prevailing metal rate* Diamond - 90% of the prevailing diamond value* Solitaire - 80% of the prevailing diamond value*

Any change in exchange value, when the exchange value is more than the value of the original product, the customer will be liable to pay the difference in amount. Vice versa, when the exchange value is lesser than the value of the original product, a credit note for the difference in amount will be provided to the customer for later purchase.

BUYBACK Policy

You may also choose your jewellery to be bought back by us.

The value of your jewellery will be calculated as follows : Gold - 95% value of the metal weight at the prevailing metal rate* Diamond - 85% of the prevailing diamond value* Solitaire - 75% of the prevailing diamond value*.

For exchange and buyback values are calculated excluding the wastage, making charges and taxes.

If any coupon, discount or promo codes were used during the original purchase, the Buyback / Exchange amount will be deducted by an amount equivalent to the coupon, discount or promo codes, as applicable.

The prevailing market value for Gold, Diamond & Gemstone will be determined by the company.

In case of Shipment of product to us under the Exchange or Buy Back Scheme the Product should be packed and sealed in a secured manner to avoid any damage in Transit either bubble wrapped or in a small box or a padded envelope and placed in a tin box. If any damage caused to the product during shipment due to the Customer’s negligence, the customer is liable to bear the loss caused to the Company.

RETURN & REFUND (Moneyback) Policy

Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. In case you wish to return the products, you can return the products within 15 days from the date of receiving the products. However, you shall return the product unused and in the same condition as you had received it, in its original packaging, along with the invoice.

The refund payment will be done via direct online bank transfers. In case of online purchases via debit/ credit card/ net banking, the refund will be through reversal of the transaction and will be done within 21 days from receiving the product.

We will arrange for the order to be collected from the provided address through our delivery partner. We shall process the refund only after the receipt of the product at our location in unused condition and in its original packaging along with its original tags and invoice, failing which refund may not be possible.

For the return of products the Customers should contact our customer support at care@the6c.com within 15 days from the receipt of product.

Customers should not return the product before receiving a confirmation mail from us for the same.

All the products must be returned in their original condition, unaltered and unused.

The Customer should provide the invoice and guarantee card (if any) into the package for the return process. We will not process the return if you do not provide the invoice and guarantee card.

Exchange, Return, Buyback and refund terms and conditions:

• Customised Jewellery (including personalised/ engraved products) is not eligible for a 15 Day Money-Back or a 15 Day Exchange. Lifetime Exchange and Buyback are applicable.
• Once your returned item is received, our Quality Assurance Department will review it.
• Any item that shows sign of wear or has been altered, resized (by a jeweller other than The6C) or damaged cannot be accepted for 15 Day Money-Back or a 15 Day Exchange
• The product should be accompanied by the original product certificate and the original/ copy of the invoice for all exchange within the 15 Day Money-Back period.
• In case the customer cannot produce the original certificate, the company will send the solitaire/ jewellery to the lab for recertification, the shipping and certification cost of which shall be borne by the customer.
• The Money-Back amount will be 100% of the actual amount paid. In case, any coupon, making charges discount, discount or promo codes were used during the original purchase, the exchange amount will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the coupon, discount or promo codes, as applicable.
• In case, any coupon, making charges discount, discount or promo codes were used during the original purchase, the BuyBack / Exchange amount will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the coupon, discount or promo codes, as applicable.
• In case of a refund on 15 Day Money-Back, payment of the refund amount shall be done via online bank transfer to the customer's bank account within 10 days of receipt of the product. If the mode of the payment was through online debit/ credit card/ net banking, the refund will be processed by reversal of the transaction.
• In case the exchange value is higher than the value of the old product, the customer will have to pay the difference.
• The prevailing market value will be determined by the company.
• The 6C reserves the right to change the terms and conditions for specific products. In such a situation, the customer will always be informed of the decision prior to the purchase.
• 15 Day Money-Back is not applicable on a product purchased in exchange of gold coins (15 day exchange at 100% of the invoice value is still applicable).
• Lifetime Exchange and Buyback values are calculated excluding the making charges and taxes.
• Any new product purchased against LTE value or Old Gold Exchange will be eligible for 100% exchange (15 days), LTE and Buyback but not eligible for 15 day money-back.
• You can exchange your design within 15 days for the full value only once.
• 15 Day Money-Back is not applicable on orders that have been exchanged earlier under the 15 Day Exchange Policy.
• Orders that are placed in India using an international card will be eligible for a 15 Day Exchange only, and not for a 15 Day Money Back.

In case of quality issues that can't be repaired, we'll replace it!*

* Damages resulting from misuse, loss of parts (diamond, screw, etc.), neglect, or unauthorised repair attempts are not covered under the warranty policy.

* In case of any discount given during the original purchase on the metal, diamond or gemstone value, an equivalent amount will be deducted from the Exchange amount.
